Hello Inspector O'Reilly. The Easter

(Whispers) Did he have a little too much sherry?
Oh
Dear. What shall I tell the girls? Thank you Inspector.
Oh dear children!
I'm afraid I have some bad news. The Easter Bunny set
off early this morning
to get a head start. He was flying low
over some trees and knocked one onto
the road. None of your
parents will be able to get through!
PUPIL 12:
Does that mean we won't be getting home in time for Easter?
ALL: OH NO! OH
NO!

(Suddenly - Music
Starts - Dottys Detectives burst in from
a different corner and end up in
formation in the middle)
DETECTIVE 1: Don't worry Kids!
DETECTIVE 2:
We're here now!
DETECTIVE 3: How can we help?
PUPIL 1: Santa knocked a
tree onto the road, and our parents wont be
able to get through!
PUPIL 2:
We have to stay in school for Easter!
PUPIL 3: It's a disaster!
PUPIL 4:
It's a nightmare!
DETECTIVE 1: Where is this tree?
MISS PRIM: Three
miles down the road. You can't miss it.
DETECTIVE 2: Leave it to us.
PUPIL 5: But you'll never be able to move it -
PUPIL 6 : You're not
strong enough.
PUPIL 7: You're just girls!
(The Detectives laugh loudly
- they get into formation again)
DETECTIVE 1: We're not just girls!
ALL
DETECTIVES: We are Dottys Detectives - Back in a Flash!!
(They run to the
scene)
NARRATOR: The highly trained detectives ran to the scene.
PUPIL
8: The chief of police was right.
PUPIL 9: It was huge
PUPIL 10: As big
as an elephant
PUPIL 11: As big as three elephants
PUPIL 12: Not even
the fire brigade could move it!
PUPIL 1: Santa felt terrible.
SANTA:
(Appears briefly) I feel terrible!
