WELCOME BACK FRIENDS - THIS WEEK WE ARE MAKING OUR OWN MUSICAL INSTRUMENT. THESE ARE TWO REALLY SIMPLE THINGS TO MAKE AND HAVE FUN WITH - COULD EVEN START YOUR OWN LITTLE BAND.

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED:

1 - AS ALWAYS WE NEED AN ADULT TO HELP.
2 - METAL BOTTLE TOPS, BUTTONS AND OLD COINS.
3 - A MEDIUM SIZED STICK OR POLE.
4 - SMALL NAILS.
5 - SMALL HAMMER.
6 - ANY COLOUR PAINT.

HERE IS WHAT TO DO:

1. Paint your Pole/Stick with whatever colours you like, then leave to dry.
2. Get the adult to help you looely nail on the Bottle tops/Buttons or Coins.
3. Now can you believe it is that easy - now the fun part, tap your pole/stick on the ground and get the vibe, shake it carefully in the air and hear the sound. Enjoy!

OUR SECONG MUSICAL INSTRUMENT ARE SAUCEY SHAKERS.
HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED:
1 - YOUR HELPFUL ADULT
2 - TWO EMPTY PLASTIC BOTTLES
3 - PAINTS FOR YOU TO DECORATE YOUR BOTTLES
4 - TWO SMALL STICKS WHICH WILL BE USED AS HANDLES
4 - STRONG SELLOTAPE
5 - PAPER
6 - PVA GLUE
7 - CUP OF RICE

NOW HERE IS WHAT TO DO:

1. Glue the paper to your bottles. This makes it easier to paint them.
2. Now decorate your bottles, paint them any colour you like and add stickers if you like.
3. Pure the rice into the bottles.
4. Paint your sticks.
5. Attach your sticks to the open ended area of the bottle, it would be really great if the stick would fit into the mouth of the bottle. Then sellotape the sticks for a strong hold.


There you have it your two musical instruments - Have lots of fun making music!!!
